Membership information

Our members hail from all parts of the country and from several foreign nations, as well. Currently we have over 500 members.

Dues and subscriptions are based on the calendar year (January 1 to December 31).
However, new members and subscribers are encouraged and welcome to join at any time during the year.

Membership dues and subscriptions received prior to November 1 are assumed to be for the current year, unless otherwise indicated.

All new members and subscribers will receive a packet with all of the journals published to date for that year.

To apply for membership, print and fill out the following application and send with check or money order (payable to Essex Society of Genealogists or ESOG) for the appropriate dues, to

Research Committee

The Research Committee meets the second Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the Lynnfield Public Library in the genealogy room.

To send an inquiry please include all information you have on the person (s) and the source (s). To avoid duplication of effort please indicate what has already been checked.
